Chetan Bhagat'slatest novel isn't about a revolution like the title suggests. It's the story of the love triangle, which is set in Varanasi's engineering entrance exam. The love story is set in Varanasi's holy ghats. It's not as swift than the river which flows through one of India's most bustling temple cities, and is the setting for 'Revolution 2020. The film is about the best of childhood friends Raghav, Gopal and Aarti and their struggle to find love and happiness.

Gopal is the son of an ex-teacher who was stricken by litigationand indebtedness was bound to crash head first and deeply in love with the daughter of the District Magistrate's daughter the moment he stole the chocolate cake to eat lunch. After the incident, the bond that was formed in the fifth grade slowly became a reality in the Ganga.

It was a time of many cruises and unspoken love songs. Aarti is Aarti's daughter. She is honest, but she does not shy away from looking at the other side when corrupt deals are struck. Raghav has the distinction of being the third member of the trio and is the most intelligentboy of the town that many believe will be the shining star of the town of a small size. He's already cleared the JEE which is considered to be one of the Holy Grail for examinations. Bhagat is trying to think about the private education system in India that is often the only option for students hailing from small towns. Bhagat offers a glimpse of the system of coaching for entrance exams.

This is a dark and eerie representation of what the experience is for students who go into the far corners of India to undergo the course that is designed to brutally remove the weakest. Bhagat's description of a people-led revolution isn't just naive but is also insufficient. The reader is left wondering until the very end of the book what the essence of the revolution would be, if and when it occurs. In lieu of being restricted to just a couple of chapters at the end, Revolution 2020 deserves more time and more indulgence.

Revolution 2020 isn't the primary topic of the book, therefore the title could have been another one. A typical reader will be expecting more groundbreaking material than similar story of girl-love mixed with corruption.

UTV Motion Pictures has purchased the rights to Chetan Bhagat's latest bestseller, Revolution 2020. Siddharth Ray Kapuris the director at UTV Motion Pictures stated, "We have been in talks with Chetan for some time to do something together." We went through the entire book in one sitting after Chetan shared it with us even though it had not yet been published.

Revolution 2020 tells the story of three main characters, Raghav, Gopal and Aarti who's fates are intertwined. Kapur has written a compelling story that has numerous characters that are well-defined, you're constantly wondering when the story will conclude. Kapur states that the issues the author addresses are issues that young people today can relate to.

3 Idiots 3 Idiots, which starred Aamir Khan and directed by UTV Motion Pictures, was the highest-grossing Indian film of all time.

UTV is believed to be planning to employ the services of three Bollywood A-list actors to take on the lead roles of Raghav, Raghav and Aarti. But, they haven't yet made any announcements about their plans.

Bhagat states, "UTV finally managed me to seduce." It was an exciting story that featured an amazing team that convinced me that they could achieve Revolution 2020 justice.
